The USB Autoscope is more an engine analyzer than simply an oscilloscope.
This tool was designed from the ground up for automotive market. It utilizes a streaming recording process where it sends data to the host computer in a continuous fashion.
The software package includes applications for interpreting compression waveforms, as well as a variety of other scripts for interpreting data. Automated scripts allow analysis of the data and give you direct results and assists in troubleshooting.

How can one do this with just 1 amp clamp ?
In this video are used CTi-50 current clamps. They have output sensitivity of 100mV/A. This means that with an increase in the measured current by 1A, the voltage of the sensor output signal increases by 0.1V. The maximum current that current clamps can measure is 50A. In this case, the output voltage is 5V.

How to test abs sensors with this scope
This is the very reason GM Multec injectors would actually make the engine run lean if the fuel pressure was too high.
What's the point of picking up the signal from the crankshaft sensor in addition? Thanks!
The recorded crankshaft sensor signal can be later analyzed using a CSS script. This allows you to perform cylinder balance test.
